What's our Opinion on Emtek Products?

Emtek Products makes a great product with a good solid feel. They do cost a bit more than your standard knob, but they also offer a much larger range of styles and customized options to really give your home a personal touch. The solid feel of a good quality doorknob or lever set makes a big difference especially when your guests enter your home for the first time. If you don't upgrade all your home hardware, at least upgrade your entry door hardware with a quality Emtek Handleset or knob and deadbolt combo. Especially when selling your home... this fist impression at the front door can go a long way. A chincy, cheap doorknob can start buyers off on the wrong foot.

Emtek hardware items generally take 1-2 weeks before delivery as most items are custom assembled or finish is applied per order. Please plan ahead so you have enough time.

Entrance, Passage and Privacy Doorknobs:
- Two knobs (one for each side of the door)
- Backplates or rosettes for both sides of the door. .
- Strike Plate (mounted on the Jamb across from the strike). Square corfner standard - rounded available upon request.
- Mounting screws.
- Tubular latch with attached mortise plate. Square corner standard. Rounded corner or drive-in latch available upon request. You must specify 2 3/8" or 2 3/4" backset when ordering, Emtek knobs and levers are shipped with only one backset.

*Entrance knobs also include keys. Larger orders keyed alike may not have keys included with every entrance knobset.

Double Dummy Knobsets:
- Two knobs and rosettes(backplates) to be surface mounted to the door.
- Mounting screws.

If you have a door that is already bored for a doorknob, but you need to use a dummy set, you'll need to specify in the comment field upon checkout that you need the back to back mounting kit.

EXAMPLE		USE OR FUNCTION

		Bedroom and Bath Privacy Doorknobs - Privacy Door Knobs are generally used on bedrooms and baths. They are lockable but do not have a keyed cylinder. They can be unlocked with a generic tool that is provided.

		Hall and Closet Passage Door Knobs - Hall and Closet or Passage knob sets do not lock. They are generally used on closets or other doors where a lock is not required.

		Double Dummy Door Knobs - Dummy knobs are surface mounted and do not include a latch or strike. Double dummy sets are a set of 2 dummy knobs with mounting screws. If you need the knobs mounted back to back through a bore hole already in your door, you'll need to specify that you need a back to back mounting kit.
