Baldwin Images Series Door Knobs
Solid Forged Brass: Images knobs, levers, and rosettes are manufactured of solid forged brass for maximum strength and durability. Latches: Images latches are constructed for exceptional durability and smooth operation. The heavy latch bolt springs are performance tested to eliminate lever sag. All latches are reversible to accommodate all door conditions. All keyed locks are provided with adjustable backsets, except where noted. All passage and privacy sets require you to choose between 2 3/8" or 2 3/4". Dummies are surface mounted. Strike: Latches are supplied standard with a full lip strike. Other strikes are available at an additional charge. Functions: Seven functions are available: please see "ordering help" tab for more info. Roses: Images roses are designed to conceal a 2 1/8" pre-drilled door condition. Concealed Mounting: Images knob and elver sets offer a completely concealed mounting system. There are no fasteners visible to accumulate dirt and debris. Easy Installation: The single set screw design facilitates quick and secure installation. Since the set screw does NOT carry any torque, there is no tendancy for the knob/lever to loosen on the spindle. The spindle is designed to eliminate any problems in locating the trim for 1 3/8" or 1 3/4" thick doors. Knobs and levers simply slide onto the spindle which is drilled to receive the set screw. Graphic Instructions: Images latch sets are designed for easy installation. The graphic instructions make installation easy and are included with each set. Door Thickness: Images lock sets fit 1 3/8" and 1 3/4" doors. (thick kits are available, please call for more info) Keying: All keyed entry products are available as keyed alike or keyed seperately. 		Half Dummy - A single knob or lever for a non-latching door. Half dummy is only used on outside of the door. Most commonly used for a push / pull applicatioin or on a closet door that does not have a latch.		Exterior Full Dummy - Decorative knob or lever used on the non-working door of a double door unit. Full dummy trim on both sides of the inactive door. Exterior Full Dummy knobs differ from interior full dummy knobs in size. Exterior dummy knobs are slightly larger making them the same size as the exterior keyed knobs.   Keyed Entry Locks - Entrance lockset which is locked by a key from exterior and thumb turn from interior. Can either be a knob or lever.   Emergency Exit Locks - Keyed knob or lever which retracts the latchbolt when the knob or lever is turned. The door will remain locked from the exterior.
		Full Dummy - Decorative knob or lever used on the non-working door of a double door unit. Full dummy trim on both sides of the inactive door.
		Passage - Knob or lever set most commonly used in hallways where a locking feature is not required.
		Privacy Lock - Knob or lever set most commonly used in bathroom or bedroom; can be locked from the inside with a push button emergency release feature.

DESCRIPTION OF WARRANTY

Subject to the terms and conditions of this warranty, Baldwin Hardware Corporation warrants that all products with the Lifetime Finish™ from BALDWIN® shall be free from defects in material and workmanship from tarnishing, flaking, pitting, and discoloring for the lifetime of the applicable product as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the product.

EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY

1. Baldwin produces its products in accordance with the highest American standards of quality and excellence. All these products are manufactured from the highest quality brass obtainable; however, these products are susceptible to small surface indentations and imperfections due to the malleability of the material and the crafting of the product. Although Baldwin's material safeguards protect against shipping products of unacceptable quality, a small surface indentation or imperfection may not disqualify a particular product from being considered of the highest quality obtainable and accordingly will not be considered a defect. Baldwin is committed to producing each item to the most stringent human standards of quality and excellence; however, all final decisions concerning defects in quality remain exclusively in the discretion of Baldwin. 2. Any Baldwin product which has been damaged as a result of installation contrary to any of Baldwin's written installation instructions is not covered by this warranty. 3. Any Baldwin product which has been modified by any non-Baldwin component is not covered by this warranty. 4. Any Baldwin product having a defect caused by neglect, misuse, abuse or unreasonable or extraordinary use or maintenance is not covered by this warranty. 5. This warranty is not transferable, therefore, no transferee is covered by this warranty.

REMEDIES

If a claim is made under this warranty and, after investigation by Baldwin, proves to be valid, Baldwin will, at its sole option, either repair or replace the defective product or refund the original purchase price. Upon such a repair or replacement, the original remaining warranty period will continue in effect and be applicable to the repaired or replacement Baldwin product. If a Baldwin product which is the same as the Baldwin product or any part covered by this warranty has been discontinued at the time of repair or replacement or if Baldwin determines, in its sole discretion, that such repair or replacement is inappropriate, Baldwin reserves the right to refund the original consumer purchase price of the product. Except as expressly provided in this warranty to the contrary, BALDWIN SHALL NOT BE OBLIGATED OR LIABLE FOR LABOR OR OTHER COSTS RELATED TO INSTALLATION, REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY OF ITS PRODUCTS OR FOR LOSS OF, OR DAMAGE TO, ANY MATERIAL WHICH IS NOT SOLD BY BALDWIN.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

All claims and other communications under this warranty must be made to the claimant's Baldwin dealer or retailer. Each claim must be in writing, briefly describe the defect, and be accompanied by a proof of purchase that shows the claimant is the original consumer purchaser. The claimant must provide to his or her Baldwin dealer or retailer other information and evidence reasonably required by Baldwin and, if requested, must permit inspection of the product by Baldwin or its representatives. If, after investigation, Baldwin determines that the claim is valid, the remedy will be performed by or on behalf of Baldwin in accordance with the above heading, "Remedies."

LIMITATION OF LIABILITIES

Except as expressly provided in this warranty to the contrary, BALDWIN MAKES NO, AND DISCLAIMS ALL, WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS AND GUARANTEES (WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY), INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LIMITATION ON THE LENGTH OF AN IMPLIED WARRANTY, AND THEREFORE SOME OR ALL OF THE LAST SENTENCE UNDER THE ABOVE HEADING, "REMEDIES," AND THE IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING TWO SENTENCES MAY NOT APPLY. This warranty is the only express warranty provided by Baldwin. No employee, representative or agent of Baldwin, nor any other person, has authority to assume or incur on behalf of Baldwin any obligation or liability in place of or in addition to this warranty. Baldwin Door Hardware Mechanical Warranty

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Warranty, Baldwin Hardware Corporation warrants to the original consumer purchaser that each of Baldwin’s products shall be free from mechanical defects for the lifetime of the applicable product as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the product.
